Hi, Karen. We love Polly - we're keeping the name as it seems to fit. She has the sweetest disposition and our kids and other friends & family that have met her can't help but love her, too! Because she's so mild mannered we initially gave her a little too much freedom, though, as we discovered she has had a little trouble with the 'housetraining'. We're going back to the 'beginners' crate-training, as we're confident that will work for her. I almost feel guilty though, since she wants to be out enjoying all of her time with us and the kids - just as much as they want her to be with them as well - but I know that that structured, consistent training should work the quickest. She is so playful, yet gentle, with the kids and loveable that we feel certain she will be with us the rest of her lifetime! She really is wonderful! Regards, Lori C.

PINT SIZED 1 | PINT SIZED 2 Not only is this little girl super cute, she has a wonderful disposition as well. Polly is pretty much as big as she will get, she will forever look like a puppy.  She is so loving, responsive, very well balanced, and totally friendly with everyone. Polly was rescued by an MPR volunteer and was saved from a shelter in a town with breed ban on the last day.  She didn't stand much chance until MPR found a committed foster home for her.   Polly is now fostered in a home with several other dogs and cats. There is also two young children in her foster home, including a toddler. You couldn't ask for a better socialization environment.   As if this wasn't enough, Polly is already housebroken and perfectly crate trained. Talk about a good start at life. This sweet and cute girl should make a wonderful family companion. If you are looking for a well socialized dog who has had a great start at family life already, Polly Pocket is the one.
