A Note from Lola: "I just finished having a great Christmas with my family. I got to see my Grandma, aunties, nieces and nephews and had lots of fun playing dress up in Mommy's new Christmas scarves with my brother Kedo--don't let my bland expression fool you, I'm actually having a heck of a lot of fun. Santa gave me neat presents in my stocking, but I feel the holiday highlight was cleaning the sugar cookie crumbs right off the babies face's and playing with the presents under the tree--I don't know what all the fuss is about, they seem to be perfectly good chew toys to me!? I'm so thankful to be happy and warm over the holidays with a family that loves me so much!! Thanks again MPR for giving me a chance at the good life, I am LOVIN' IT!" This beautiful dog was bailed out of deathrow 2 years ago and adopted by a woman in Kansas City. She lived the good life with her for two years but now her mom can no longer keep her due to breed restrictions in her apartment building. So poor Rain is once again looking for a home where she will hopefully be loved for the rest of her life this time. Sitting Pretty | Cute Girl Rain has been through a lot in her life and while all her physical scares are gone, she has kept some mental scars. She is shy and needs time to warm up in new situations. Rain is a sweet dog however, and what she lacks in confidence she makes up for with her loving nature. She is very affectionate.

Rain will need a gentle and patient owner, willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. She will probably never be the most outgoing dog with strangers, but we think she can live a good life with a responsible and understanding owner. She is not aggressive, only insecure and timid. Rain is used to being an only pet. She could perhaps go in a home with a gentle and friendly male, but will need time to adapt to living with another dog. She would probably prefer being an only pet and getting all the attention for herself. Rain is a gorgeous blue female with nice cropped ears. She is very well proportioned, stocky, and has a beautiful big head. She's definitely quite the looker and her beauty attracts a lot of compliments. Rain is used to living in an apartment and could go in a home without a fenced yard although she would certainly enjoy a big yard to run and rump in. She is very obedient, perfectly housebroken, crate trained and no trouble at all. This dog will be a real treasure in the right hands. She needs a home ASAP as her current owner can only keep her another month or so. "Give me a chance, please" Note that those pictures were taken two years ago.
