Fort Lauderdale, FL - US

Case Report: Grobol faces multiple charges stemming from a November 16 incident in which he allegedly beat two pit bulls with a PVC pipe at his home. News sources describe a large blood smears on the walls of his carport. The dogs were reportedly tethered and bleeding heavily from their faces when authorities arrived on the scene. I hear terrible howls and screams from the dogs a couple times a day, a one neighbor told news sources. Grobol reportedly admitted to these crimes, reasoning that he was trying to teach the dogs a lesson for making noise while he slept.

According to news sources, the defendant told officers who found the dogs bleeding profusely from their faces, heads, and bodies "that he beat the [expletive] out of them with a 6-foot-long piece of PVC pipe because their barking had interrupted his sleep. Grobol is also said to have kicked one of the dogs in the testicles, and neighbors report routinely hearing the sounds of animals screaming from Grobol's residence. I hear terrible howls and screams from the dogs a couple times a day, one neighbor apparently told reporters. Both animals were reportedly rushed to a veterinary clinic, but an additional 14 animals appear to have been left in his charge.

Reports indicate that Grobol is no stranger to violence he has apparently been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following his alleged July 2003 chasing of a 16-ear-old boy, knife in hand. Twenty-three cats and dogs reportedly seized from Grobol's charge at that time were evidently later returned to his custody.
