An abused dog is being nursed back to health at the Broward Animal Care Center. Fort Lauderdale police have arrested Sean Patrick Callan and charged him with abusing the dog.

Police say Callan pulled the four-year-old pitt bull down the street with a garden hose wrapped around its neck. The dog suffered numerous injuries.
