Amy's Happy Bunch

Here is Amy with rescued dogs Annabelle (front) and Rusty.

This is Rusty the week I brought him home. He was adopted from a no-kill shelter in February 1996 at 6-8 months of age. He just happened to catch my eye on that particular day and I just couldn't leave without him. He came home with Demodectic mange, bronchitis (kennel cough), an irritable bowl, a serious case of separation anxiety, and an attitude problem.

He had bronchitis twice that winter but hasn't had it since. We have worked through his problems one by one until and he has become a happy, healthy dog. We are still working on the separation anxiety and most likely will for the rest of his life. The addition of Annabelle to our family has helped out even more. He is able to be out loose in the house without my fear of his destroying something. They make a great pair!

Here we are with our kitty, Java.

When we go out, we always dress to impress.

Mom loves to take pictures. First Rusty...

then Annabelle...

Now together...two gorgeous peas in a pod.

Big belly laughs.

You'll always find us together.
