Shelly and her babies

Shelly and Sadie watching Animal Planet

I am an Animal Science major - Senior level. I currently work and the Central Missouri Humane Society. I volunteered there for a year and have been employed there for a year. Two summers ago I completed an internship at the Saint Louis Zoo as a keeper in the Antelope and Ungulate area. What a wonderful experience that was.

Sadie is an American Staffordshire Terrier, one year old, brindle female. She is so cute and sweet. One moment she is the sweetest, cutest, little girl, and then the next minute she will be running all around the house rough housing with her roommate, Scout, a 10 month old, female laborador-border collie mix.

Cocoa the foster resident

I am so excited now, because I am finally able to open my home to Pitbulls in need. The lucky Pit is a female, chocolate-merle, 1-3 years old, we named Cocoa. She came to the shelter as a stray, still lactating, but had no pups. She was in pretty bad shape, but besides her skin condition, she is very beautiful, and has the greatest personality.

This sweet girl is available for adoption in PBRC Central MO Pitbull Rescue
