BELLA's PALACE
One Happy Dog - 10 months old
Bella was born on November 24, 1996 in Queens, NY. She is the first dog I
have ever owned. I love her with all my heart!
Her father is a Tan and white 80lb pup rescued from gang
related fighting. Her mother was bought at a pet shop and she is
black and blond brindle.

Bella was a litter of 13
and 11 survived. When we went to go see the pups at 4 weeks, Bella (at the
time her name was Harriet Houdini because she got into and out of everything)
she popped up her head from the middle of the pile of pups and walked right
over to us. Bella picked us.

When she use to fit under the couch she would hide there when
she was a bad girl.
We visited her 3 more times before we were able
to take her home. Once when we visited her, we found her eating from a huge
bowl all by herself...the other 10 pups were crowded around the other bowl
trying to sneak a kibble!

Bella loves the snow, carrots, going to "grandma's" house, and running in the
park. We have been very close with the owners of her brother and she loves
him to no end. Unfortunately, she protected her brother in the park one day
after another dog growled at him and since then she has been slightly dog-
aggressive. But Never to her brother!

She used to sleep with us, but since
her surgery (torn ACL) we got her her own bed and she loves it! She wakes us
up in the morning by jumping on the bed and showering us with morning breath
doggie kisses.

Bella hates to be on a leash and will pull forever - even with a prong collar
on. She loves pig ears and hates loud noises. When I go clothes shopping,
Bella likes to stick her nose in everything. I think she thinks the clothes
are for her because I dress her up as often as I can! Halloween, Christmas,
sweaters in the winter and her denim jacket and baseball hat in the warmer
weather!

Oh yeah, Bella also loves Heavy Metal music. The heavier the
better. (Pantera, Slayer, her favorite is White Zombie - this from influence
from my husband!)
