Treasure, The Little Prince

Treasure

Our little prince..!

Talk about a pretty boy...! How can someone let him go? We still don't understand...

Animal control picked him up roaming around on his own. He was covered with fleas, starved, had fresh bite wounds on the neck, and a few old scars on the legs... He was still just a pup...

Treasure is a real little love bug. He just can't get enough petting and attention. He is the most loving and affectionate of our dogs, and a real flirt with strangers too.

Treasure must have been an outdoor dog before he came live with us, and probably didn't have much socialization. We also suspect that he was victim of physical abuse.

It took him a little while to realize that life can be fun, but he sure enjoys every minute of it now! Everything was new to him at first, and he is still discovering life with amazement.

Looking at him now, who could tell this gorgeous baby was a poor and lonely stray...

Treasure gets along fine with Jim and Peaches, but like all pits, he likes to play rough, and must be supervised.

He has a high pray drive like Peaches, and we would not be surprised if he became somewhat dog-aggressive as he matures. He can fire up when he is excited, and we always keep a good eye on him.

He is a very good dog though, and very people oriented. He is obedient and learns quickly.

He came as a foster dog, but is now known as "Rob's dog" ....
